Milwaukee chef Lisa McKay will serve lunch and discuss her recipes along with her culinary career at the first general meeting of the year on Thursday, Oct. 5, at noon.
The menu will feature chicken marsala with mushrooms in wine sauce, herbed rice and asparagus spears. Dessert will be cheese cake with homemade berry topping. Cost is $15. Please go to email@example.com to reserve a place.
Lisa has been the owner of Lisa Kaye Catering since 2007 and was selected Chef of the Year by the American Catering Federation in 2015. As chair of its chef and child committee, she is a leader in the organization’s efforts to fight obesity and promote healthy eating among children. Lisa also mentors culinary students and helps them complete required field experience.
She is a graduate of the Milwaukee Area Technical College culinary arts program and a Wauwatosa Woman’s Club member.
